AMRITSAR: As the Khalistani leader and fugitive Amritpal Singh is still on the run even after four days of manhunt, Punjab Police on Tuesday released a set of possible avatars that he could've adopted to evade arrest.

In the hope that people could help identify and spot Amritpal Singh, the police have released seven different pictures, where he can be seen donning clean shaved or bearded looks and different turbans and guises.

Cops suspect that Amritpal Singh might have changed his appearance and these photos will help people identify him even in a different appearance from the one he had when he escaped.

"There are several pictures of Amritpal Singh in different attires. We are releasing all of these pictures. I request you display them so that people can help us to arrest him in this case," said Punjab IGP Sukhchain Singh Gill.

Earlier today, Punjab Police arrested four people who helped Amritpal Singh escape.

Amritpal Singh, the self-styled chief of Waris Punjab De, has been declared a fugitive after he gave cops the slip on Saturday after an intense car chase through Jalandhar district.

According to sources, after changing vehicles, Amritpal Singh fled on a motorcycle. He also changed his clothes, turban and covered his beard with a cloth.

So far, over 100 people have been arrested. But Amritpal Singh has managed to give the police the slip and is still on the run.
