GDC Dudu Basantgarh hosts symposium on ‘Digital Initiatives in J&K

UDHAMPUR: Government Degree College Dudu Basantgarh organized a symposium under the Digital Initiatives in J&K' under the "My Town My Pride" 2.0, today.

Twelve students of the college participated in the event.

On the basis of the overall performance including language, content, and intonation, Sonali Devi of Sem-1st clinched 1st position whereas Brimbal Singh of 5th and Rimpi Devi of Sem-1st shared 2nd and 3rd position, respectively.

Addressing the students, the Principal of the college Dr Bhavnaish Chand emphasized on the importance of organizing such events to remove the stage fright of the students alongside providing them a platform to exhibit their abilities and knowledge.

He advised the teaching staff of the college to use powerpoint and other IT methods of teaching, while the students were advised to take benefits of the technology and take advantage of the digital initiatives/schemes launched by the JK Govt.
