RAMBAN: The re-launching of 240 ft CI-40R BSB bridge over River Chenab at Maitra, Ramban by the 52 RCC GREF was started today in coordination with the District Administration Ramban.

An expert team from GRSE, Kolkata Ltd, has carried out the re-launching of the old Jhula bridge and is now re-launching a new 40R Bailey Suspension Bridge over River Chenab.

Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam, along with Additional Deputy Commissioner, Harbans Lal Sharma, visited the site and took stock of progress on the re-launching of the new bridge.

Engineers and field staff of GRSE informed that the work is in progress and measures have been taken to launch the bridge which will provide much relief to the people once completed.
