Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital organises free medical aid camp at Heritage School

JAMMU: Free Medical Aid Camp was organized at Heritage School under the outreach programme of Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital, Jammu.

The team of doctors from the Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital included Dr. Arun Medical Officer (Camp Incharge), Dr. Amardeep Medical Officer, Dr. Pooja Medical Officer accompanied by Sudhir Singh (Sup Pharmacist), Anil (UT Pharmacist) and Neelam (Yoga Therapist).

The team of doctors provided the staff and students with valuable insights, facts and information on Ayurvedic medicine. They informed the students that Ayurveda, which is a traditional medicine system of India , focuses on promoting wellness of body, mind and spirit.

The holistic approach combines lifestyle changes, diet and exercise. A yoga session was also organized for the benefit of staff and students. The school infirmary was presented with Ayurvedic medicines by the team.

Akash Pradhan, Principal, Heritage School on behalf of staff and students extended his gratitude to the team from Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital for this initiative and wellness drive.
