ADDC Bandipora chairs meeting of DJJM

Also chairs SOP committee meeting for relief cases

BANDIPORA: The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Bandipora, Afsar Ali Khan today chaired a meeting of District Jal Jeevan Mission (DJJM) Bandipora at Mini Secretariat, here.

The Meeting was convened to discuss the modalities for the formal allotments of a total of 32 works of various Water Supply Schemes (WSSs) of PHE Hyd Division Bandipora, Sopore and Gurez.

The meeting discussed 32 total Works of Bandipora District including 23 works of PHE Hyd Division Bandipora, 02 works of PHE Hyd Division Sopore and 07 works of Special Sub Division Gurez to the total tune of Rs. 38 crore to be authorized for allotments by the DJJM.

The ADDC insisted upon respective Executive Engineers that all works after authorization may be immediately allotted and the works may be started on ground without any further delay, so that the approved schemes are completed within the devised timeline to ensure 100% Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTC's) to the entire rural population of the district.

The meeting was informed that the District Action Plan under JJM for an amount of Rs.447 Cr stands already approved for District Bandipora.

The schemes have been envisaged to provide the 100% Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTC's) to the entire rural population of the district.

Among others, Superintending Engineer, Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, ACD Bandipora Ab Rashid Dass, DIO Bandipora Showkat Hussain Ganie and other concerned Ex Er's were present in the meeting.

Later, the ADDC chaired a meeting of the SOP Committee for discussing various aspects related to physical verification of Calamity relief Cases.

The committee approved 09 relief Cases pertaining to Bandipora and Gurez subdivision related to Fire, landslides, cloud burst and other calamities.
