Varuna Anand gets “Most Inspirational Business Women” Award

JAMMU: In a glittering ceremony at Bengaluru, Varuna Anand, Proprietor, The Splendor of Kashmir received the Most Inspirational Business Women Award, by the Global Triumph Foundation, at the GTF Women Excellence Summit 2022.

The award was given to her by Nazneen Banu IDSE, presently Director NGMA, Bengaluru, Ministry of Culture, Government f India and Dr. P.K Raju, Sr. Vice President Cadila Pharmaceuticals, India.

Nazneen Banu is the second women in history of Independent India to join the IDSE, The Indian Defence Service of Engineers, which is an engineering service and the backbone of Armed-Forces Infrastructure, in India. In a talk with the gathering of women, she shared snippets of her struggles and journey so far, which was most motivating and inspirational.

The theme for this years summit was "Breaking Barriers" where women from different spheres and fields were honoured and recognised for their work.

The summit included an interactive Panel discussion on "Women Founders Growth, making a difference in the Entrepreneur Ecosystem in India"

The organisers Amit Jain and Monica Jain laid emphasis, that such summits lay stress on the importance of women empowerment, where inspirational Women are honoured and encouraged to share their journeys with other women to come forward and take the plunge towards fulfilling their aspirations and dreams.

They laid stress on boosting the status of women through literacy, education, training and awareness creation.
