Poonch Campus, JU launching awareness campaign to promote entrepreneurship

Director discusses activity plan with JKEDI, KVK officials

POONCH: Director Poonch Campus, Prof Dipankar Sengupta today held detailed interaction with officials of JKEDI, KVK and Government Higher Secondary School Chandak to explore the possibilities of organising entrepreneurship awareness programs to benefit students and people in general.

Prof Dipankar Sengupta was accompanied by Campus Officer, Dr. Rubia Bukhari and other officials of the campus.

Interacting with Dr. Muzafar Mir, Scientist of KVK Poonch, the Director said that Poonch Campus was ready to collaborate with the government departments to explore the ideas for generating avenues through outreach programmes for the youth of the campus and the Border district as a whole.

He also said that Poonch Campus was working on a proposal which will not only be beneficial for the Campus students but for the people of the area as well.

He held detailed discussions with Akhter Hussain and Akhtar Bashir from JKEDI. He thanked the Director JKEDI for organising such a big event in collaboration with Poonch Campus.

He further said that JKEDI and Poonch Campus will continue to strive to find new avenues to benefit the society, especially the campus students and youth of the area to generate awareness about the income generating entrepreneurial trainings and seminars.

Director Prof Dipankar Sengupta along with Dr Rubia Bukhari of Poonch Campus also interacted with the staff and students of Higher Secondary School Chandak Poonch.

Prof. Dipankar Sengupta directed the Campus Officer Poonch Dr Rubia Bukhari to coordinate with JKEDI, KVK and other departments to organize programs in coming days.
