GCW Gandhinagar organises workshop on 'Explore the Unexplored'

JAMMU: The Yuva Tourism Committee of PSPS Govt. P.G. College for Women Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, today organised a workshop on the theme "Explore the Unexplored," under the charismatic leadership of Prof Minu Mahajan, Principal of the College.
The event started with an inaugural address by Prof Anju Bala, the convener of the committee. She welcomed the chief guest and highlighted the need and importance of tourism in contemporary times.
In her address, the Principal applauded the participants and the committee members for organizing such a wonderful event. The ten participants presented their videos along with oral presentation of various unexplored areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
The participants presented were evaluated by a penal of jury comprising Prof Irvinder Kour (HoD, Home Science) and Prof Anjana Gupta (HoD, Chemistry.
Haspreet Kour, Rehana Kousar and Noriena Javaid bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively.
On the occasion Coordinator IQAC, Dr.Yash Pal motivated students for successful life by sharing his life experiences.
The finale ended with the vote of thanks by Dr Rahul Sharma. He also congratulated all the committee members viz: Prof Malti Rajput, Dr Suraj Mohani Jamwal, Dr. Renu Sharma, Prof Sunita and Prof Ajaz Ahmad Lone for their efforts to make this programme successful.
