Series of awareness camps organised in Jammu District under Jan Abhiyan Shehri

JAMMU: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Avny Lavasa and as a part of Jan Abhiyan Shehri under My Town My Pride 2.0, line departments organised various activities including awareness camps and sanitation and plantation drives in the Jammu district.

All the line departments including social welfare, health, education, agriculture, handicraft, sports and youth affairs, animal husbandry etc organised different activities like distribution of digital pass books, awareness camps regarding government schemes, employment mela, sports activities in all municipal areas of the district Jammu.

The departments also established stalls to sensitize the general people regarding the government sponsored schemes initiated for the welfare of people.

Stalls and registration counters were set up by various departments at the designated venues where people were apprised about various given schemes and beneficiaries were also registered.

Land Passbooks, trade licenses and other certificates were also distributed among the land owners and traders.
