Jan Abhiyan Shehri: Director Gen PFD conducts physical verification of completed works in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR: Director General, Project Formulation Division (PFD), Planning Development and Monitoring Department J&K today visited Udhampur District and participated in the Jan Abhiyan Shehri campaign being held ahead of the My Town My Pride programme.
The DG, along with DSEO Udhampur and representatives of Municipal Council and officers/officials of PWD (R&B) Division Udhampur conducted Physical Verification of works/projects executed during the year 2021-22 by PWD (R&B) Division under District/ UT Sector in Municipal Area of Udhampur.
During the visit, the visiting officer took stock of activities being undertaken by various departments under Jan Abhiyan Shehri and MTMP Programme.
He inspected stalls setup by the government departments to spread awareness regarding various beneficiary and welfare schemes for the public.
He advised the officers of the line departments to strive for full saturation of all the deliverables prescribed by the government. He also interacted with the general public and appealed to them to take benefit of the initiative of Jan Abhiyan Shehri and MTMP Programme.
He also interacted with Vice President, MC Udhampur S. Surinder Singh Khalsa.
He noted that the councillors have an important role in formulation of comprehensive plans for municipal areas. He was accompanied by Deputy Director Planning, Darshan Kumar (DSEO Udhampur).
