Drive against illegal parking conducted in Ramgarh Area

SAMBA: A massive drive against illegal parking and encroachment was today carried out by Motor vehicle Department Samba and J&K Police in Ramgarh area of Border district Samba.

During the drive 60 vehicles were blacklisted while 32 were challaned for parking their vehicles in no parking zone in the Ramgarh Market Area.

Assistant Road Transport Officer Samba, Rehana Tabassum informed that under the direct supervision of Deputy Commissioner Samba, the anti encroachment drive and drive against wrong parking was jointly carried out by department of MVD, JK Police and Municipality officers.

The shopkeepers, market associations and locals were appealed to refrain from occupying the road and let the traffic ply smoothly otherwise strict action shall be taken against the violators.
