Govt Hr Sec School Gai Dessa celebrates Annual Day

DODA: Government Higher Secondary School Gai Dessa today celebrated its annual day by organising a scintillating function.

Chairman District Development Council Doda, Dhananter Singh Kotwal was the Chief Guest, while ACD , Phulail Singh and BDO Bhagwah were the Guests of Honours.

Addressing the students, the Chairman congratulated the faculty members of the school for organising the annual day in the far flung area of the district to encourage the students who have done well in their studies and other extra co-curricular activities. More so, to motivate other students to perform well in their academics as well as in other activities.

The Chairman also urged all the students to carry the slogan of Nasha Mukt Bharat campaign in every corner of their respective area and asked them to contribute in making their surroundings Swachh.

Meanwhile, the locals also presented their demands before the Chairman which includes establishment of GDC at Dessa, mobile Tower at Gai, Optical fiber upto Manjami, Auditorium at GHHS Dessa, creation of New education Zone, Health wellness centre, Permanent post of lady Doctor and Ambulance service.

The Chairman assured the public that all their demands will be raised at the appropriate level.
